Day One: Arrival
Picked up and checked in to the hotel in Kampala. O/N: Fairway Hotel
Day Two: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, drive to Kibale Forest National Park have a stopover in Fort portal for lunch en-route then arrive in the early afternoon. Check into your accommodation. You may take a walk in the Bigodi Wetland in search of the Shoebill Stork, the Papyrus Gonolek, White-winged Warbler and many more not forgetting the various flora. Day Three: Coffee Tourism
Visit Clarke Farm and experience the amazing hilltop views, explore the river and forest walks, try the activities such as bouldering and mountain biking, walk or jog on the farm trails or have an exciting guided tour of the farm by Jeep. Round off your stay by roasting some Clarke Farm coffee and enjoying the fresh locally prepared dishes. O/N: Nyaika Hotel
Day Four: Kibale Forest National Park
This park has recorded the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in the Great Lakes region. Here we shall take a nature walk in the tropical forest in search of wild chimpanzees with trained guides. Have lunch and in the afternoon drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Queen Elizabeth National Park’s diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. Game drives in this park, with the massive Rwenzoris as a backdrop provide excellent opportunities to see lions, leopards, giant forest hogs, buffaloes, elephants, defassa waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, Topi and Bushbuck. Day Five: Game drive and boat cruise
Start very early in the morning with a game drive in the park, passing via the crater lakes region with over 30 crater lakes to be explored, it’s such a nice scenery to view in the morning with many different species of animals in the savanna. Return to the lodge for your breakfast and then relax. After lunch, embark on the boat launch along the Kazinga Channel which connects two Lakes Edward and George where you will see several bird species and lots of hippos and crocodiles. Day Six: Katara Womens’ Project
Kataara Womens Poverty Alleviation Group is a community-based organization registered with Rubirizi District Local Government as a CBO. lt has 83 members 60 women, 15 female youth and 5 men the majority are women because its a women lead organization. The organization implements conservation and tourism activities such as Handicraft center, Elephant dung paper making and paper products, Demonstration for elephant dung paper making, Beekeeping tour, Coffee experience/ roasting, Agro tour and Home stay.
Get an opportunity to participate in the paper making process from Elephant dung. O/N: Buffalo Safari Lodge
Day Seven: Drive to Bwindi
After your breakfast, you will drive out of Queen Elizabeth National Park heading to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park via Ishasha in search of tree climbing Lions. Your driver guide will show you through as you will be heading to Bwindi. In case you are lucky, you may come across the tree-climbing lions which will be up in the fig trees found here. The Lions spend most of the day sleeping. Ishasha is the best place in East Africa for tree-climbing
lions and people come from far and wide to see them. You will then head to Bwindi to your accommodation and dinner. Driving time is 4 hours. O/N: Haven Lodge
Day Eight: Gorilla trekking
After enjoying an early breakfast and a short briefing at the park headquarters with your small group, your ranger will lead you through the tropical rainforest in search of your gorilla family. Trekking through the steep, densely forested hills and then finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation is an inspiring and privileged moment. Trekking in the Bwindi forest requires stamina and can often take most of the day (3-6 hrs).
Join them for an hour, observing their behaviour in their natural habitat. O/N: Haven Lodge
Day Nine: Back to Kampala/Entebbe
After your breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala/Entebbe; you will have lunch en-route in Mbarara and then another stopover at the equator point. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation in Kampala/Entebbe. Driving time is 6 hours. O/N: Kabira Country Hotel
Day Ten: Experience the Entanda Cultural Adventure
Entanda is a beautiful word in Uganda. It means a package which you offer to people that you love and care about. The package could be useful advice or physical valuables which you offer to help someone in the future. It could be a daughter, son, cousin, friend or anyone you truly love that you give Entanda.

Day Eleven: City Tour
Proceed for the City tour of some sites in Kampala. Pick up from your hotel and take a tour of Kampala City. Visit the Namugongo Martyrs’ Shrine and Museum. The Uganda Martyrs
Shrine Namugongo is one of the largest Christian pilgrimage destinations in Africa dedicated to the 22 Martyrs and saints of Uganda who were martyred between 1885 and 1887 by the king of Buganda, Kabaka Mwanga II. Visit other places that tell the history of Kampala and these include; Kabaka’s Lake, Kabaka’s Palace in Mengo, President Amin’s torture chambers, Parliament of Uganda and depending if it’s a weekend, crown the evening with a visit to the Ndere Cultural Centre for a Ugandan cuisine and performances of the Ugandan Cultural dances and songs. Day Twelve: Departure
Shop for your souvenirs at the crafts village before heading for the airport for your return flight home.
